E. the 12th Zurmang Gharwang Rinpoche, the spiritual head of the Zurmang Kagyu Lineage, has commenced his retreat for one month which is special to the Zurmang Whispering (Oral) tradition and practices. May all unforeseen obstacles be removed and may this auspicious occasion shower blessings to all sentient beings.

14/3/2025 coincides with three auspicious occasions: the Miracle Month Festival, the commemoration of Marpa Chökyi Lodrö (the King of Translators) passing into the dharmadhatu, and the Zurmang Demchok Tsok Gar (feast offering dance) celebration. On this triple-festive occasion, at the main assembly hall of the Pal Karma Zurmang Shedrub Chökhor Ling monastery, under the guidance of the sovereign of the Zurmang oral lineage, His Eminence Zurmang Gharwang Chökyong Tenpa Namgyal, the monastic community performed the Zurmang Demchok Tsok Gar (feast offering dance). On the tenth day following the passing into parinirvana of Khenchen Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche, Zurmang Gharwang Rinpoche, with his retinue, came to make prayers and dedications for the perfect realization of all the profound wishes of Khenchen Rinpoche's enlightened mind and his swift attainment of Vajradhara. Gharwang Rinpoche made fervent prayers that Khenchen Rinpoche would take birth swiftly for the benefit of sentient beings until the end of space and the emptiness of samsara. Gharwang Rinpoche also gave Khenchen Rinpoche's remaining disciples advice and encouragement with great love. Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoché had also come to pay respects to the remains of Khenchen Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche. Not only did the two Rinpoches meet, but they also shared their aspirations and prayers, had a long conversation, and concluded the meeting.

Everyone received a lovely token of appreciation from Rinpoche for helping to make the event a success!
