We are happy to announce that Venerable 12th Zurmang Gharwang Rinpoche will be arriving from Kuala Lumpur on 20th January (Friday) night by SQ 117 at 19.45 (Terminal either 2 or 3).

You are most welcome to visit Zurmang Kagyud Buddhist Centre at 301 Guillemard Road, Singapore 399740 to receive blessings from Rinpoche to usher in an auspicious Dragon Year for yourself and family!
 
Gharwang Rinpoche will leave Singapore on 25th January (Wednesday) early morning by SQ 406 departing at 7.30am via Delhi back to Harvard University, Boston to continue his academic pursuit before coming back to Singapore again in June 2012 to conduct the 100 Deities & Guru Zambala Grand Puja. Program details will be posted in the website soon.

Please note Gharwang Rinpoche is available in the ZKBC centre 301 Guillemard Road, Spore 399740 on 5th June 2012 (Tuesday) between 10.30am to 11.30am (Morning session) and 4.00pm to 6pm (Afternoon session) if you wish to seek audience with Him. Thank you

Gharwang Rinpoche will be leaving Singapore for Medan by MI 0238 at 19.20 on Thursday 7th June @ T2. If you wish to see Rinpoche off at the airport, please be there at least 2 and half hours ahead of departure schedule..Thank you.

Singapore Kagyu Monlam 2012

Dear all
 

The 3rd Singapore Kagyu Monlam 2012 blog is now up and running. Registration Forms are also now made online and available on the blog.
 

The word Monlam is Tibetan, mon means aspiration/hope and lam means way/path, so Monlam means a way to do an aspiration. The highest aspiration is the aspiration which is based on bodhicitta, the wish to reach enlightenment or Buddhahood for the benefit of all beings, to enable all beings to reach Buddhahood. The purpose of the Kagyu Monlam is to gather together all practitioners to create universal aspirations of good will and harmony.

Hi Friends, just in case you are not in our emailing list but intend to attend Gharwang Rinpoche's coming program, kindly note that we have just received a call from Teochew Building amending the venue for the additional two days program on 5th & 6th June(Tues & Wed) from Cultural Room to the Auditorium. The reason given by them is that they need the Cultural Room for their Art Exhibition..
However..., please do not forget to attend and receive the bountiful blessings of 100 Deities & Guru Zambala from lst to 3rd June (Fri to Sun) at Futsing Association Hall!
