Life can spring many surprises on us
for which we may not be fully prepared. When faced with such challenges, we must continue to work hard, stay open-minded, and trust others wisely but not blindly.
When we view a situation only from our own perspective, we reduce the world in all its complexity to a narrow sliver of the truth. Such an approach can have serious unfortunate consequences for ourselves and others since when we fail to understand a situation holistically, we wind up making all kinds of wrong judgments. Thus, in the interest of everyone involved, we should continually strive to expand our understanding of the circumstances that we face in our daily lives in order to move beyond our own narrow point of view and arrive at a more complete picture.
