** Welcome
The blessings of the Triple Gems are so great, and this is the reason why Zurmang Kagyud Buddhist Center was established — to bring people close to the Dharma, to help and benefit sentient beings. We hope to reach out to you, and wish to benefit one and all by the activities and events organized by us.
Our Spiritual leader, His Eminence 12th Zurmang Gharwang Rinpoche established the center with the aim of propagating the pure teachings of Lord Buddha Sakyamuni, as well as promoting Tibetan Buddhism, especially the Zurmang Kagyud Lineage Tradition, in Singapore. We sincerely hope to provide a conducive environment for one’s chanting, meditation and contemplation of Buddha’s teachings.
Sometimes, we may encounter some problems that we are unable to solve. We do not know what is wrong neither do we have the ability to get to the root of the problem. It could be due to health, family, career or simply a personal crisis that you are undergoing. Our resident lama is able to conduct pujas on a personal basis upon request. Pujas help one increase merits, purify negative karma and eventually helps to clear one’s obstacles.
Very frequently, we also have other Rinpoches visiting our center but due to insufficient notice, we may not be able to hold any specific program. However, we invite everyone to visit and join us in our weekly, monthly prayers as and when you are able to attend. You can bring some flowers or fruit offerings; you can bring home the offerings as a form of blessing. The offerings can also be distributed among the participants. It is a source of great merit and blessing.

** Centre Mainentance
For $50.00 monthly contribution towards the center for its upkeeping and maintenance and also as offering of food to the resident lama and visiting lamas, daily Tara Puja will be done on behalf of the sponsors.
As we all know, Tara, which literally means "saviouress" or "she who liberates", is strongly associated with compassion and referred to as the "mother" of all the Buddhas. She is said to be able to protect us from the eight great fears including worldly tragedies and so forth and thus the daily practice of this puja will help remove our worldly fears.
Or Mahakala Puja (also for a sponsorship of $50.00 monthly towards the center’s maintenance). Mahakala, a protector, is the wrathful manifestation of Avalokiteshvara (Kwan Im). This puja is performed to help remove all kinds of obstacles in both our practice and daily life such as obstacles in our work place, in the family and in the business environment. It will help us lead a more "peaceful" life with less stress through the blessings of the Deities.
It is also highly recommended for the individual to chant mantras daily even though prayers are done on one’s behalf. Please note that oral transmission from Rinpoche or our Resident Lama is required before embarking on the chanting of the mantras. Do get a copy of Gharwang Rinpoche’s CD to assist you.
