If we are looking for a permanent solution to violence, then trying to fix the act itself rather than the cause of the act will not solve the problem.
For instance, if there is a poisonous tree in front of our window, simply cutting the branches will not eradicate the danger. The branches will simply grow back to their original size again. In order to eliminate the danger, we need to remove the tree from the roots.
Similarly, as long as our anger and hatred remain intact within us,
then wishing for peace and tranquility is just an unrealistic dream.
Therefore, do not go after the act, but the cause of the act.
Unfortunately we might also contribute to such an environment
by making wrong judgments about others.
Arrogantly distancing ourselves from finding a suitable solution.
