We are living in an ever-changing world, and if we do not accept the changes that we see around us, then it will be difficult for us to experience success and

progress in our lives. Buddha rightly said, “Follow the rules according to the times and avoid what is not appropriate, and also practice what is beautiful and meaningful.” Thus, we should not let our egoistic view, stubbornness, and ignorance destroy our most precious lives. Instead, we should promote the attitude of openness, acceptance of changes, and most importantly, we must learn how to forgive and forget. If we are able to hold such a positive attitude, then there is no reason why we cannot be happy, successful, and prosperous.

It is not only monks and nuns who can be teachers, but it is most important for a teacher to have the right qualities in order to help and liberate their students. There are many qualities that teachers must have and at the very least, the teacher must be compassionate, must know well whatever they are teaching, and also must be able to keep their commitments purely. Whoever possesses the necessary qualities can be a teacher, but if someone is unqualified, we cannot accept them as our teacher. Teachers themselves should continue with their practices of learning, contemplating, and meditating for as long as it takes to acquire all the qualities of a perfect teacher
