For people who have already signed up for the trip, we would appreciate if you read and take note of the following additional informations. Please pay the deposit of US$1000 by 11th June, 2011 in order to secure a seat and also to facilitate the application of the visa to Bhutan. Thank you very much for your co-operation and also note that the Lingdum Monastery is arranging this travel out of compassionate intention and not making any profit out of it.

1)  The starting point for the tour is from Bangkok.  As such, the estimated cost of USD 2,500 for this tour will not include expenses incurred for the trip from SIN to BKK, Similarly for BKK to SIN.
2)  Due to various choices of airline and preferences, everyone is supposed to make their own arrangement for the trip from SIN to BKK and BKK to SIN. Please make sure you are at the BKK Int'l Airport on 20th morning. The time to gather will be announced later once the flight is booked and confirmed.
3)  Visa application to Bhutan will be covered under this estimated cost. The visa to Sikkim/India has to be applied personally in Singapore through the Indian Embassy's assigned agencies. Please remember to get the rubber chop showing permit to enter Sikkim (which is classified as Restricted Zone). For the addresses of two references in India when you need to fill up the Visa application form, please indicate as "Lingdum Monastery, Ranka, East Sikkim, Tel number as 91-3592-322793" & "Gharwang Rinpoche, :Lingdum, Gangtok, East Sikkim @ 91-9733088888" if you do not have anyone else for reference.
4)  The estimated cost of USD 2,500 covers the below:
a)  airport tax for various locations
b)  meals
c)  land transport
5)  We need a minimum of 60 passengers (overall from various countries) in order to charter the flight from Badogra to Bhutan, so there is a minimum and according to Rinpoche, no maximum!
6)  We need to collect a copy of your passport as well as a photo for visa application to Bhutan, so to avoid unnecessary delay, please give us at the time of paying the deposit of US$1000.
 
7) The estimated cost covers twin-sharing hotel rooms, if you need single room, be prepared to pay more.
8) Most importantly, please note that out of the US$1000 deposit that you are paying, US$750 will go towards the application of the visa to Bhutan Government and this is non-refundable! The balance will be utilised for booking of airfare and hotel rooms which are also non-refundable.
