There is a change in April's Programme.
We are holding a Chang Chog Puja on 10 April 2011 at 3pm in conjunction with the Chinese tradition of Ching Ming Festival and at the same time, "do something" beneficial for the deceased of the recent catastrophes.
Brief Introduction and Benefits of Chang Chog
It is usually done for the benefit of the recently deceased to achieve liberation. For persons who have passed away a long time ago, this practice will still bring great blessings to them and create the causes and conditions for their liberation. For the living, it is said that once their karmic debtors are liberated through this practice, the person will have less obstacles. For all beings, this practice will help to create favorable conditions and enhance their well-being.
Types of Sponsorship for this Puja
1. Deceased $10.00 each name
2. Karmic Debtors $10.00 each name / $30.00 per family
If you are attending the puja, please come at least half an hour earlier to register. Otherwise, you could send in your cheque made payable to "Zurmang Kagyud Buddhist Centre" with your choice of sponsorship written behind the cheque.
